Thad is committed to supporting our public and private education system at every level - from Madison elementaries and middle schools, to West and Edgewood High and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will fight to raise pay for teachers and support staff and ensure that our schools have the resources to support every student. As a UW-Madison husband (Thad’s wife Michelle Chui works as a professor and researcher in the School of Pharmacy), Thad knows well the importance of restoring the independence of the UW system, safeguarding DEI initiatives, and ensuring that UW-Madison continues to be the incubator for Wisconsin’s future leaders.
